I am so grateful for the amazing job that I have! I started taking photos seriously in 2001 when a friend asked me to do some headshots for her. The next thing I knew I was getting calls from actors and models from the agency she was with to do their photos. Since then I have become a full-time freelance photographer.

My background is in TV, film and makeup, so the progression was a natural one. I have worked in the entertainment field in one capacity or another for 23 years in Los Angeles and here in Nashville. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most prestigious photographers, directors, makeup/special effect artists and visual artists in the industry. I have always learned from watching and doing; being a kinetic learner, experience has been my greatest teacher.

I really love all aspects of photography. I love to capture the individual beauty of each woman and man, the joy of a family, the intimacy of birth photos, the excitement of the entertainment and editorial photos, the knowledge I gain from the medical photography, and the heart wrenching journey my personal work has taken me on. Looking at my personal work, you will get a better glimpse into who and why I am.

Photography is my way of making a small difference in the lives of the people that I am blessed to capture with my camera. My hope is to bring awareness and encouragement and to show that true beauty does exist in all things.
